Through a road movie in a pink Cadillac, this film features several generations of women and deals gently with grief, separation and origins. We love the otherworldly flavour and the lyrical scenes that have the air of an oriental fable about them.

Synopsis
After more than twenty years, Sue returns to her native Egypt to see her ailing mother Fairouz. Having distanced herself from this eccentric aristocrat when she was young, Sue is now compelled to find her again, at least to draw a line under the past. The journey from Cairo to Alexandria is full of surprises, however, and Sue ends up discovering her roots, reconnecting not only with her mother but also with herself.
