DreamAgo's opinion:
Immigrant workers who, faced with a shocking reality, have to fight to exist in a hostile social context. The story of these two destinies is touching in its authenticity and humanity. "Keep hope alive and never give up" is a message worth passing on.
Guest: director Stephen Fears
Synopsis
Okwe, an illegal immigrant from Niger, works as a taxi driver by day and as a receptionist in a seedy hotel by night. He shares his flat with Senay, a proud young Turkish asylum seeker who works as a chambermaid in the same hotel. This precarious balance is upset when he discovers something in one of the rooms that horrifies him. Confronted by a ruthless parallel world that threatens to destroy the person he holds most dear, he must also come to terms with startling revelations about his true identity.
