Founded in 1982 by Maurice Zufferey on the foundations of the business created by Charles Caloz (~1970), this winery currently cultivates ~9 hectares of vines, ideally located on the slopes of Sierre, Venthône and Veyras.
As a pioneer, Charles Caloz was one of the architects of the revival of Cornalin in the Valais, expanding the area under Cornalin and planting other native varieties such as Petite Arvine and Humagne rouge. Since then, the Maurice Zufferey winery has carried on this legacy, perfectly illustrating this passion for authentic Valais grape varieties.
Maurice's son Adrien joined the family domaine in 2016 after graduating from Changins School. Equally passionate about wine, he brings new ideas to the table, such as the Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine.
By combining the legitimacy of the grape varieties with high-quality vinification, the Maurice Zufferey winery offers wines of the highest quality.
