DreamAgo's opinion:
The delicate moment of the departure of grown-up children sometimes means questioning the couple's way of functioning and loving each other... We love the tone of this bittersweet comedy, which doesn't hesitate to show the difficult family balance once the children are gone.
Synopsis
Henri is going through a mid-life crisis. Who's to blame for his failures, his lack of libido and his backache? His wife and four children, of course! Just as he's taking stock of his life, all the women he'll no longer have and the cars he won't be driving, a huge, ill-bred, obsessed dog decides to move into the house, much to his delight but to the dismay of the rest of the family and especially Cécile, his wife, whose steadfast love is beginning to crack.
Guest: director Yvan Attal
Preceded by Stéphane Bergouhnioux's documentary: CINEMA BY... YVAN ATTAL
DreamAgo's opinion :
On a trip to New York, Yvan Attal revisits the films that have influenced him, talks about the directors he admires and makes you want to see (or see again) the masterpieces of Sydney Lumet, Martin Scorsese and so many others! A very special moment, full of confidences...
