Founded and directed by Jon Matte, the Montreal collective stands out by transforming experiences into anthems.

Since appearing in 2014 with their debut album This Is How I Let You Down, The Franklin Electric has played over 400 shows in a dozen countries, sharing the stage with a host of artists including Mumford & Sons, Ben Howard, Edward Sharpe and City And Color.

Following a nomination at the 2018 Juno Awards in Vancouver in the ‘Breakthrough Group of the Year’ category, Jon Matte finds an inexhaustible source of inspiration in the mountains and landscapes of British Columbia to write the songs that will feature on the band's forthcoming albums.
