Fantasea is an ode to difference, driven by a desire to exist, without the need to justify oneself, to make sense or to reassure oneself of one's normality.

In her work, Klaire-Alice Crettol knows no hierarchy of cultures; she mixes all her influences in a jubilant and joyful way. While the common thread running through her work is undeniably linked to an aesthetic, visual and formal quest, Klaire-Alice has the ability to take on current issues such as the normativity of representations of the body and the injunction to Be. The questions about body politics presented on stage are asked in simple, direct terms, "Why should we have to bend to norms?"
