Opening: Pierre-Alain Zuber and guest Rémy Bender

Pierre-Alain Zuber :
Pierre-Alain Zuber, born in Sierre in 1950, divides his time between Sion and Geneva, where he teaches at the HEAD, Haute Ecole d'Art et de Design. Since the 1970s, PA Zuber has been developing his work with wood in an approach linked to Process Art and Minimalism, in which the gestures of carpenters and joiners are invoked in the field of contemporary art. He has had countless exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad, and has won numerous awards for his monumental works and installations in public spaces.

Rémy Bender:
Rémy Bender, a visual artist born in 1988, is based in Valais. Rémy explores the relationship between humans and their environment by creating image and sound devices that interact with natural phenomena such as wind, water and sun, offering different perceptions of the environment. He teaches graphic design at EDHEA and works with visual artist Basile Richon. He is also a member of the Factor collective and the recipient of numerous awards.
