Castle Muzot, peacefully nestled in the heart of the surrounding vineyards and orchards, was built in the 13th century.
It was here that the poet Rainer Maria Rilke chose to live out his last five years, writing the poetry collections entitled "Vergers" and the famous "Quatrains valaisans".
