Poretsch celebrates its 50th anniversary

This year, the Glarey Poretsch Club is celebrating its 50th anniversary. To mark the occasion, it is organising an event at the Place de Glarey on the Chemin du Monastère in Sierre.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as the traditional food and drink stalls, there will be live music in the square. DJ David, The Poor Boys, Jakstaff and the two old boys, Diabolo and Satanas, to name but a few, will be taking to the stage. On Saturday afternoon, there will also be a procession of brass bands from the Sierre region between the Glarey Poretsch Club carnotzet in rue de la Tannerie and the Place de Glarey. This will be followed by a short official speech on the square.
