Le Chœur

When did your story meet history? is the question posed by Fanny de Chaillé to 10 young artists. In a very precise ballet, each of them tells a story, an often funny, sometimes touching tale, while the others inhabit it or comment on it.

At what point did your little story meet the big one? Fanny de Chaillé put this disarming question to the ten young actors and actresses of the 2020 ‘Talents Adami Théâtre’ class, who were invited into her world for the duration of the show. Caught between two confines, the group welded together their own unity through collective experiences, until they became one body. A Choir, giving voice to these pieces of shared and intimate memory, inspired by Pierre Alferi's vivid poem rightly entitled Et la rue.
